Controls & Instrumentation
Incinerators/thermal oxidizers are equipped with an automatic control and instrumentation system to ensure equipment operations are conducted in a safe and controlled manner. The design safety standards for these systems are always based upon well-established safety guidelines (National Fire Protection Agency, Factory Mutual, etc.) as well as customer provided criteria. The control system monitors conditions necessary for safe operation (flame light-off sequences, fuel pressure, flame monitoring ,etc.), and actively regulates all conditions necessary to achieve the desired performance levels (such as incinerator temperature, vent stack oxygen concentration, and others).
