USA – BROKEN ARROW, OKLAHOMA – Zeeco, Inc., one of the world’s leading manufacturers of advanced combustion technology and environmental solutions, was recently recognized by local, state, and federal officials on its 40th year in business..

Zeeco’s owner and CEO, Darton Zink, was only eight years old when his late father, John Smith (Jack) Zink founded the company in 1979. While Zeeco’s original footprint consisted of a single 20,000 sq. ft. facility on a 200-acre plot of land in Broken Arrow, it has since grown to encompass more than 100,000 sq. ft. in Broken Arrow on more than 250 acres. The Broken Arrow campus is the global headquarters for the company’s more than 1,000 employees and 20 other facilities, worldwide.

On March 29th, Zeeco held a Founder’s Day event for Broken Arrow employees to celebrate the 40- year milestone. Zink addressed employees, saying, “We – you, all of us working here together, each in our own important role at Zeeco – have built this tremendous success story, and we’re not even close to being done.”

Zeeco has executed 35,000+ projects in more than 100 countries, consisting of ultra-low NOx burners; gas and liquid flaring systems; flare gas recovery, vapor recovery, and vapor combustion units; thermal oxidizers; combustion rentals; and aftermarket products and services.

“It’s certainly no easy feat today with all the regulatory requirements and just the pressures that are on businesses today,” said United States Congressman for Oklahoma’s First District, Kevin Hern.

Zeeco’s Broken Arrow facility is now the home to the world’s largest industrial-scale research and test facility in the world, and the first of its kind to be ISO-certified. “It’s such a fantastic thing for our state,” said Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt. “We want to bring the world to Oklahoma and Oklahoma to the world. Zeeco is a great example of doing that right here from Broken Arrow,” Stitt continued.
